Who I Are · Founder

The agency was built by an operator, for operators.

Arara SEO exists because the same problem kept showing up across every business I launched: great service, real customers, almost no presence on Google. I built the playbook out of solving that for myself, and now apply it to businesses in the same spot.

The founder

Raphael Gomes, founder, Arara SEO.

I've launched a few businesses over the years, and one problem kept resurfacing on every one of them: the work was good, the customers were happy, but new ones couldn't find us. Day in and day out, the thing that occupied me wasn't the service I delivered, it was making sure my next customer could find their way to my door through Google.

That's where the SEO obsession started. Not theory. Not certifications collected for their own sake. Operator-level necessity. If I didn't rank, I didn't eat. So I learned what actually moves rankings on a real site for a real business in a real city, and what's just agency theatre.

Why Arara SEO, and why now

For a long time, ranking on Google was the entire game. That's still 90% of the work, but the ground is shifting. The best service businesses are starting to show up not just in Google results but in answers from ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google's own AI Overviews. The technical foundations that earn those mentions, schema markup, structured data, content that's actually quotable, real reviews surfaced cleanly, are the same foundations that win Google. I've been building that stack on my own businesses for years. Arara SEO is what happens when I take that operator-built playbook and apply it for other people.

My focus is businesses whose clients find them through organic Google search. Today that focus is residential property management: getting PM firms found by the owners searching for them. The patterns I audit for repeat regardless of vertical: missing schema markup, weak on-page signals, broken internal linking, no Map Pack presence, title tags that work against you. That's the thesis behind the pattern on the homepage: the gaps show up the same way across nearly every site I've looked at, and most of them are fixable in weeks, not quarters.

How I work

The first deliverable on any engagement, and the only thing I ask anyone to pay for before they've seen my work, is the free 48-hour audit. That's not a marketing tactic. It's the same diligence I'd run on one of my own businesses before deciding what to fix first. If I can't find anything worth fixing, I say so. If I find a lot, the audit IS the proposal, it tells you the gap, the priority, and what fixing it will cost.

I keep the client list small on purpose. Every engagement gets the operator-level attention SEO actually requires, which is the opposite of how most agencies are structured. If you want to talk before booking the audit, the contact details are on the right.

The principle

Data is my North Star.

Every recommendation I make traces back to something I can show you, an Ahrefs export with a snapshot date, a missing schema block on your live page, a competitor's ranking history, a search-volume number with provenance. I don't ship vibes-based SEO. The audit names the gap, the evidence is attached, and the work is scoped against it. If I can't measure it, I won't promise it.

It's also why schema markup and technical SEO are the first two pillars I focus on with most clients, they're the data layer that both Google and the AI search engines read first.
