Arara SEO ("we," "us," or "our") operates araraseo.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our website, how we use it, and what rights you have under applicable Canadian privacy law, including the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, where applicable, provincial legislation.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide. Through our audit request form, we collect:

• Business name
• Business website URL
• Your email address
• Business vertical (HVAC, Plumbing, etc.)
• City

Information collected automatically. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors find and use our site. When you visit araraseo.com, Google Analytics may set cookies (including _ga and _ga_*) and collect:

• Pages viewed and the order in which they are viewed
• Approximate location (country and region) derived from your IP address
• Device, browser, and operating system
• Referring URL — the site or search query you arrived from
• Engagement events: clicks on email and phone links, Free Audit CTA clicks, calendar booking clicks, and pricing-page interest. These are sent to Google Analytics by our tracking.js script.

We do not use advertising pixels, retargeting tags, or session recording tools.

Server logs. Our hosting provider maintains standard server logs (IP address, request timestamp, browser type, referring URL) for security and abuse-prevention purposes, retained for no more than 30 days.

2. How We Use Your Information

Information submitted through the audit form is used solely to:

• Prepare and deliver the free SEO audit you requested
• Send you one follow-up email approximately two weeks after delivery to confirm your receipt and ask whether you have questions
• Contact you if you initiate further correspondence

We do not use your information for unsolicited marketing, newsletters, or any purpose beyond the audit engagement you initiated.

3. Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise share your personal information with third parties, except as follows:

• Netlify, Inc.: We use Netlify to host this website and receive form submissions. Your submission data passes through Netlify's servers and is governed by Netlify's Privacy Policy. Netlify infrastructure is located in the United States.
• Google LLC (Google Analytics): We use Google Analytics 4 to measure site usage as described in §1. Pageview and event data passes through Google's servers and is governed by Google's Privacy Policy. Google's analytics infrastructure is located in the United States. You can opt out using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
• Legal compliance: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests from public authorities.

4. Data Retention

We retain your contact information and the audit we prepared for up to 12 months from the date of submission, or until you request deletion, whichever comes first. After that period, your information is permanently deleted from our records.

5. Your Rights

Under PIPEDA, you have the right to:

• Request access to the personal information we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
• Request deletion of your information
• Withdraw consent to our use of your information at any time

6. Data Security

We take reasonable precautions to protect information submitted through this site against loss, theft, and unauthorized access. Our form submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and processed through Netlify, which maintains its own security controls. No transmission over the internet is completely secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Third-Party Links

Our site may contain links to third-party websites (Google, Yelp, HomeStars, etc.). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their policies independently.

8. Children's Privacy

Our services are directed to businesses and their representatives. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
